Are you insured?
Yes. Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator has 5 million pounds public Liability Insurance in place. A copy of the policy can be emailed to you at your request.
Do you require a deposit to hold a date or for supplying materials?
Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator is a well established business and does not ask for any upfront payments. In fact, no payments will be asked for until all work is completed and the customer is 100% happy with everything.
When you start a Customers property will you stay until completed?
Yes. Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator will stay and complete your property or room before moving on to any other customers property.

Do you provide quotations for insurance work?
Unfortunately, Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator doesn’t undertake insurance work.
Can you supply quotations without a physical viewing?
Unfortunately, Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator will not supply a quotation without first viewing the works.
Do you charge for quotation?
All quotations are fully detailed and free and will be emailed. Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator does not send out written quotations by post.
How do I get a quotation?
Any work enquires can be made through my website form, checkatrade, google my business, email, text, WhatsApp or a phone call.
Do your quotations include materials and VAT?
All quotation will include a full breakdown of labour and material cost. Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator is not VAT registered
Are there any hidden extras?
Absolutely not- unless the customer changes the scope of works. What Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator has quoted is what you will pay
Do I have a limited choice of colours to choose from?
I only use superior quality trade paints such as Sanderson, Little Greene Company, Farrow & Ball, Tikkurila, Dulux and Crown Paints. They all have a huge range of wonderful colours to choose from. Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator is happy to leave various trade fan decks with you to view in the comfort of your own home or business. These colour fan decks have been purchased by Mark and are the property of Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator and must be returned once finished with.
Do you supply sample pots so we know the colours are the same as the colour card?
Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator has allowed up to six testers once quotation has been accepted.
Do you just leave tester pots or do you paint them on the wall?
Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator has invested in a large number of sample boards, Mark will paint your chosen colours on them and will drop them back to you to view in the comfort of your own home or business completely free of charge. These boards are the property of Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator and must be returned once finished with.
Do we need to remove the carpet?
The carpet will not be removed if it doesn’t need to be replaced. All carpets and flooring will be fully protected by the best and fully tested products.
What payment methods do you accept?
Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator will only accept bank transfer payments
Do I need to do anything prior to you starting painting and decorating?
All pictures, curtains, poles, fixings, blinds, brackets, wall mounted TV’s should be removed from walls. Furniture that cannot be moved to another room should be placed in the middle of the room.
What about cleaning up afterwards?
Mark will always tidy up after himself at the end of each day, and then clean thoroughly once the project is completed.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes of course Mark Wrighton Painter and Decorator will guarantee his work for a period of one year. This does not cover damage caused by new carpets or flooring being laid. It merely covers Marks actual work.
